Your information
Privacy notice
How we handle information when you contact us about commercial vehicles and related services.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Who is responsible
Dorey Commercial Asset Management Ltd is responsible for the personal information described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17525366. Our registered office is 16 Highbank, Newport, NP19 7JQ.
For privacy questions or requests, email Enquiries@doreycam.com or write to the registered office above.
What we collect
When you use a form, email or call us, we may receive your name, business and role, contact details, vehicle or fleet requirements, and anything else you choose to tell us. We may record our conversations, the status of an enquiry and next steps in our internal CRM spreadsheet. Our form provider may also process submission details and technical information needed to deliver the form and prevent spam.
The form marks the details needed to send an enquiry. You can contact us by phone or email instead. Please avoid including personal case details or sensitive documents in an initial form enquiry.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request, assess whether we can help, discuss a service, and follow up on the same or a closely related business requirement. We rely on our legitimate interests in managing business enquiries and relationships, or steps you ask us to take before a contract where applicable.
- To keep a practical record of conversations and instructions, deliver agreed services, and meet any legal or accounting obligations. Depending on the activity, we rely on legitimate interests, a contract or a legal obligation.
- If you tick the separate, optional box on a form, to email you occasional updates about relevant Dorey services. We rely on your consent for those updates. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. A reply or follow-up about your specific enquiry does not depend on ticking that box.
Who receives information
Our website forms use Web3Forms to deliver submissions to our email inbox. We also use email, website and other IT providers to run our business. We may add relevant enquiry details to an internal CRM spreadsheet.
Submitting a form does not automatically send your details to an insurance broker, buyer, recovery partner or other service partner. If a later introduction or instruction needs one of them, we will discuss that with you and share only the information needed for that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell enquiry details.
Processing outside the UK
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Web3Forms says it operates from India and uses other providers; its data processing agreement sets out transfer safeguards, including the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. Contact us if you would like more information about safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and CRM details while a request is active or a realistic related follow-up is planned. We remove clearly unworkable leads and review inactive enquiries regularly, deleting information when it is no longer needed. We consider the last meaningful contact, the nature of the enquiry and any expected next step. If work proceeds, records may be kept longer to manage the service and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Web3Forms states that it retains stored submissions for up to three years unless a shorter period applies. Deleting our copy of an enquiry does not itself delete a copy still held by a provider.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, and request a copy in a portable format where that right applies. These rights can depend on the circumstances. You can withdraw consent for optional service update emails at any time without affecting earlier use. Email us at Enquiries@doreycam.com and we will respond to your request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
